Auf GoMore mietest du von Privatpersonen, und bei den meisten Autos nimmt der Besitzer die Buchung zuerst an. Bei DRAIV hängt das am Auto: Autos mit Sofort-Buchung sind mit der Zahlung bestätigt und öffnen per App, bei Anfrage-Autos nimmt der Besitzer zuerst an.
GoMore ist eine dänische Plattform mit Zweigniederlassung in Zürich, auf der nach eigenen Angaben mehr als 18'400 Autos stehen, vom Stadtflitzer bis zum Wohnmobil. Manche lassen sich sofort buchen, bei den übrigen muss der Besitzer die Buchung erst akzeptieren. Storniert er eine bereits akzeptierte Buchung, zahlt er eine Stornogebühr, in der Schweiz zwischen CHF 15 bei mehr als 48 Stunden Vorlauf und CHF 100 bei weniger als drei Stunden oder Nichterscheinen. Der Schutz läuft über Helvetia mit CHF 1'500 Selbstbehalt, den du bei der Buchung reduzieren kannst, und eine Kaution kann bei der Buchung verlangt werden.
Bei DRAIV gibt es zwei Arten von Autos. Autos mit Sofort-Buchung sind mit der Zahlung bestätigt und öffnen per App, ohne dass du jemanden triffst. Bei Anfrage-Autos nimmt der Besitzer die Buchung zuerst an, und manche übergibt er persönlich. Welcher Fall gilt, steht beim Auto, bevor du buchst, und eine Kaution wird in keinem Fall gesperrt. Dafür ist die Auswahl klein: Zürich und Umgebung, dazu Ennetbaden und Zug. Für einen Transporter am Samstag in Chur ist eine Plattform mit tausenden Privatautos die bessere Wahl, für eine Fahrt am Freitagabend ab Zürich oft nicht.

Using a car through DRAIV was easier than we could have hoped for. The car was exactly where it was supposed to be at the expected time. The car was in great condition, and it was super comfortable. I made an error when I failed to account for a time zone change, and the issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes from when I messaged. I had a question while I was using the car, and again, I had an answer in minutes. After this experience, I can’t imagine ever renting from anywhere else. Thank you, DRAIV!
